This painting is a long narrow painting. The originals that are painted on the longer canvases look awesome side-by-side. This pair was a spinoff of the "Expressions" series however, they are classified as "Couples". I adore this painting - they are both gazing at each other from different branches. Too cute for words. Media is acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas with painting going all the way to the edges - no color blocked edges - 100% art coverage front, top, bottom, and sides.

My favorite art tools are knives. They are unforgiving yet clear and finite when used. Working within the acrylic family is fun, but working with modeling paste is where the art begins; free form and each application remind me of swimming. What I love best about creating art is the freedom of expression without fear of consequence.
