Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. My favorite art tools are knives. They are unforgiving yet clear and finite when used. Working within the acrylic family is fun, but working with modeling paste is where the art begins; free form and each application remind me of swimming.
